Professional and Networking Organizations

AIA – Springfield (196 members)

An affiliate of the Missouri Institute of Architects as well as the American Institute of Architects, this professional organization facilitates networking and educational opportunities for members. CMS attends and takes minutes of the monthly board meetings and prepares the monthly financial reports. CMS also helped AIA Springfield host the Central States Region Conference in October 2014. AIA – Central States Region (10 Components and 5 state-level organizations)

A regional component of the American Institute of Architects representing Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and Oklahoma. CMS schedules conference calls, takes meeting minutes, and manages communication with regional leadership.

Association for Women in Communication (1,200 members)

The Association for Women in Communications is the one organization that recognizes the complex relationships that exist across communications disciplines. Modern communicators must demonstrate competence in varied disciplines and be able to network and make career moves across the broad spectrum of communications fields. Disciplines represented within the association include print and broadcast journalism, television and radio production, film, advertising, public relations, marketing, graphic design, multi-media design, and photography. Don’t Meth With Us

Working with Southeast Rotary, Club Management Services assists Don’t Meth with Us to educate children and families about the consequences of methamphetamine, arming them with the tools necessary to combat illicit drug use and addiction. JAWS Society (250 members)

JAWS Society is the leading national authority on all aspects of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery practice management. Club Management Services serves as the Executive Director to handle the day-to-day operations of the Society, as well as Event Coordinator for the conference held every April. Greater Springfield Dental Society (240 members)

In March 2006, the Greater Springfield Dental Society an affiliate of the Missouri Dental Society and the American Dental Association hired Jean Harmison of Club Management Services as the Executive Director to handle the day-to-day operations of the association. Missouri Municipal & Associate Circuit Judges Association (600 members)

CMS serves this statewide professional association by maintaining financial records, coordinating the annual conference at the Lodge of the Four Season, maintaining and updating the website, and creating a member newsletter (coordinating content, formatting the document, and managing distribution). National Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors – Missouri (1,000 members)

An affiliate of the National Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors, this professional organization coordinates legislative advocacy and provides leadership training/organizational support to local associations. Visit www.naifamo.org.

National Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors – Springfield (150 members)

An affiliate of the Missouri Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors as well as the National Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors, this professional organization facilitates networking and educational opportunities for its members. CMS attends and takes minutes at monthly board meetings and prepares all monthly financial reports. In addition, CMS coordinates key communication pieces, preparing and distributing the newsletter, and maintaining the website, www.naifanet.com/springfield.

Springfield Apartment & Housing Association (120 members representing nearly 10,000 units)

CMS takes a more comprehensive approach to serve the organization’s needs. CMS assists with member recruitment, plans programs and secures speakers, coordinates and takes minutes at monthly meetings of the board and membership, creates and distributes an association newsletter, and maintains the website as a vital communication tool and resource for members. Rotary Club of Springfield – Downtown (180 members)

CMS maintains attendance reports, assists with the installation of officers, manages financial documentation (billing, invoicing, and reporting to Rotary International Foundation), assists in the preparation of the weekly newsletter (emailed to members as well as printed and distributed at membership meetings), and generates new member packets. This invitation-only networking organization serves business owners, entrepreneurs, and senior managers in Springfield, Missouri. In addition to managing the club’s financial records, CMS coordinates board retreats, prepares the member directory, attends and takes minutes at monthly board meetings, and plans new member orientations. Springfield Business Builders Breakfast Club (40 members)

This invitation-only networking organization facilitates referrals and helps area businesses flourish. The business owners and operators who comprise the membership turn to CMS to manage finances, track attendance, coordinate correspondence, take minutes at monthly board minutes, and maintain the club’s website. This neighborhood association had a unique need, and CMS was retained to manage this homeowner’s association.

Stone Meadow Homeowners Association (300 residences)

CMS sends out Stone Meadow’s annual homeowners association fee invoices, collects fees, handles correspondence, maintains financial records, and prepares checks for the approval and signature of appropriate officers of this homeowners association. Six23 Condominium Owners Association (40 units)

CMS sends out Condo Six 23’s quarterly homeowners association fee invoices, collects fees, handles correspondence, maintains financial records, and prepares checks for the approval and signature of appropriate officers of this homeowner’s association.

Timberbrook Property Owners Association (38 residences)

CMS collects dues, handles correspondence, maintains financial records, and prepares checks for the approval and signature of appropriate officers of this homeowners association.

Foundations

Greater Springfield Dental Foundation

In March 2006, the Greater Springfield Dental Society an affiliate of the Missouri Dental Society and the American Dental Association hired Jean Harmison of Club Management Services as the Executive Director to handle the day-to-day operations of the foundation and help put on the triennial fundraising gala.
